• Assist and conduct failure analysis on a diverse blend of
products and materials
• Assist senior staff in working with customers resolving
manufacturing and processing problems
• Direct and conduct laboratory testing of materials and components
• Minimum of BS in Metallurgical, Materials or Mechanical
Engineering
• Desire to learn and work on new things and new challenges
• Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple
tasks
• General knowledge and exposure to a wide range of material
systems
• Exposure to failure analysis techniques and practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with laboratory analytical equipment and techniques
• Hands on experience in laboratory techniques is a plus
• Exposure to materials processing and manufacturing
• Ability to interface with customers

• Hands on experience with materials processing and manufacturing
• Ability to manage projects and interface with customers
• Hands on experience in SEM and metallography is a plus
• Experience in product design and materials selection is
a plus
• Experience with ISO 17025 Quality Systems is a plus
• Experience with polymers, coatings and lubricants is a plus
